Keep the Groom Included with Your Bride and Groom Pictures

There’s a reason why bridezilla is a term for some brides, while grooms don’t have a similar stigma attached to them. In many cases, the groom sits back and allows the bride and her family and friends to take over. When it comes to your engagement photos and bride and groom pictures, though, it can be a great idea to make sure the groom stays involved. After all, they are his memories too.

Ask for Location Input

You may have an ideal location in mind for your engagement pictures and any pictures that will be taken on your wedding day. However, instead of making the decision on your own, make a list of your favorite spots, especially those that mean something to you and your groom-to-be. Show him the list and ask him for his input. You may still have the final decision and he may even tell you to pick what you want, but he will appreciate the fact that you asked.

Poses

Most men won’t seem to care about poses and will simply do what your photographer tells him to. Brides, on the other hand, often have a long list of poses they absolutely must have. Talk to your groom-to-be before any photo shoots and find out if he has anything in mind. He might surprise you and come up with some great poses that will become your favorites.

In addition to location and poses, you might also want to give your groom a say in when your engagement photos are taken and what he will wear. It may feel as though many men simply don’t care enough to give their input, but it is often more a case of wanting you to be happy. Impress your man by showing him that you really care about what he wants because your special day is about the both of you, not just you. It will set the tone for your future together.
